I had a lot of questions that I now forget and I suppose are no longer relevant considering the series is coming to a close. I do agree that White Tiger is an odd character as well as the other "magic" users in the team. They leave something to be desired and I couldn't really connect with them like I could with X-23...

As for "Avengers Arena," I think that it could definitely be an ongoing series. Granted the idea behind it is that the heroes are fighting to the death, but that doesn't mean that in every issue someone is going to die. We are going to see a lot of struggles, people getting wounded heavily and then trying to survive. There is also an ENDLESS pool of supers and new supers that they can add to the mix. "Let's have a guy who can control frogs!" boom, new character. Also, remember that a lot of the characters from "Avengers Academy" are slated to be part of "Avengers Arena".

I think that the new comic, as with any new comic title really, we are just going to have to wait and see. As for now, I am excited for it because I am sure it will have some amazing fights.PhiltheChttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10098344410574744619noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8327677432661950043.post-12058807124129063002012-09-22T13:41:05.093-04:002012-09-22T13:41:05.093-04:00yeah i am not sure about "Avengers Arena"...yeah i am not sure about "Avengers Arena" - the premise seems kind of strange.. i dont see how this will work in an ongoing series..

But it's always sad to see characters vanish into the background - the same happened with the young squat of the Avengers Initiative series - and to be honest - the Young Avengers as well.

I was reading Avengers Academy right from the start but didn't read the start of the current arc.. so i always felt lost with all the new students. I just didn't get why they had to integrate people like White Tiger, who was "just there" and didnt add anything to the story :/Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08363294543767830758noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8327677432661950043.post-86771947948738917262012-09-22T07:00:33.098-04:002012-09-22T07:00:33.098-04:00I 100% agree. I think that I came into this series too late. I am definitely starting to see something good in it and wish that I had a little more time with the characters in this setting. I may go back in the near future and read older issues. Who knows though...maybe Avengers Arena will do a nice job following it up.
