Jason Aaron really knows how to write Wolverine...seriously. Even after being out of comics for years it is obvious to see the immense growth in Wolverine as a character and how much he truly cares about all of the other mutants, especially his students and those at the school.

This issue focuses heavily on Kid Gladiator and Rachel Grey. Rachel has, oddly enough, started hunting people again; namely Avengers and Hope Summers. With a little help from Ice Man, Kid Gladiator, Angel and Phoenix Five version of Namor she takes on the Avengers.

This issue is so full of action it is ridiculous. Kid Gladiator tears the vast majority of the Avengers a new one until Wolverine has to put him in his place. The X-Men are able to achieve their goal of finding Hope but...well I'll let you read it to figure out what happens with that!

The last page sets up the obvious next battle of the Shi'Ar coming to stop the Phoenix Force. I am beyond excited to see what issue #13 has to offer.

This bad boy gets a solid 9/10. Noticing a trend people?
