"Sibling Rivalry Part 1"
I probably shouldn't have written these blog posts out of order considering this book is the part one to the Sibling Rivalry story arc but I have gotten in the habit of writing these in alphabetical order that I sort of dropped the ball...oops.
Anyhow, as mentioned in the Scarlet Spider #20 review, this team up is Spider-Man and Scarlet Spider taking on Jackal and his clones...sort of. This first issue is more about Spider-Man versus Scarlet Spider because Otto has some bad memories of Kaine when he was still the "evil" clone. It is a little concerning how Otto just cuts loose even though he is supposed to still be putting on a show that he is Peter and it is also a little surprising the Kaine doesn't question the situation more but I guess the jumping in of the other clones distracted him enough to not question it.
I am happy to see Otto start to have more run ins with Peter's past and this story arc was fun, I just want to see it happen a little more consistently. I hope that something sparks in Kaine's mind later to make him really question what is going on with Peter, rather than just accepting the much more aggressive hate that his "brother" is showing him.
