Once again, stop! If you haven't read Amazing Spider-Man #700 this will definitely spoil the story. This comes AFTER the events in that book. You have been warned.
This issue basically is dealing with the day after the battle at Avengers Tower and how Doc Ock is handling his new body. He discusses his plans to make better technology and how he plans to function as Spider-Man. He does seem to have some problems controlling his urge to stop criminals. He feels that it is just instinct but is slightly put off by it.
He decides to enter one of his old bases to find some tech and then realizes that it will attack him while there because he is no longer in his body. He easily fights off his own security and decides that he is better than his old self. He sees how Peter was able to beat him so many times. With this information in mind he has decided that he is better than himself and his greatest enemy of all time and seems quite happy with being Superior Spider-Man.
This issue was a nice end-cap for #700. It was cool to see Doc Ock in Peter's body and it solidified my excitement for Superior Spider-Man #1. I can't wait to see what Dan Slott brings to the table with his new title but I am definitely staying positive.
