"Venom War: Part 1"

It was only a matter of time before Miles ran out of the webbing the Peter left and this is the moment. This is also the moment that we all realize that he is not a chemist like Peter and it is going to be a lot harder for him to make new product. Thank goodness for his buddy Ganke and the fact that he is willing to give up his Lego money to help Miles make more webbing so that he can function as Spider-Man. That part is the light-hearted part of this issue.

Venom is back. I assume that it is Eddie Brock but there is not mention of the person that is engulfed in the Symbiote, the only thing is that it seems he is pissed. In the mean time we have Miles' father, Jefferson, dealing with the fact that he single-handedly fought off Hydra soldiers and is considered a town hero even though he doesn't want to think about it or his past.

The final piece to the story is J.Jonah Jameson discussing why he had no desire to run a story on who the new Spider-Man is and once again why he is so protective of him. It is so weird to see a pro-Spider-Man Jameson but I like it.

This is building up to something big, it is hard to not feel it. I stand by my love for this comic and this is one of the main reasons I have so much faith in Bendis on X-Men as well. It was hard to get used to someone being Spider-Man but Miles fits the tights.
