"All-New X-Men vs Uncanny Avengers"
There is a lot to like about this issue. We are now a little over a half a year into this title and it has been giving us a fun read every month. I am loving what Bendis is doing with the characters here. I originally thought it would be hard to care about the original X-Men but they are so dynamic that it is fun to watch them grow.
This issue dealt with an interesting concept, brotherhood. Havok finally meets his brother from the past as he and his Uncanny Avengers question Wolverine and his team about Mystique's doings around the world because she had been framing them. The interactions between Alex and Scott were great to see and a strong reminder of how much potential Scott had and how much Alex really does love him.
I am really getting a feeling that the plot for this story is going to take off now that we are heading into the second half of the year. Bendis has set up an incredible foundation for his readers and I am excited to see it go forward. There is a lot to like here and we just keep getting more.
