This issue was put together incredibly well. There are three basic things going on. One, Wolverine and Psylocke are having a conversation via the astral plane. Two, Psylocke and Spiral are battling it out. Three, Cluster is trying to convince Psylocke to help her help Fantomex.
The key to enjoying this issue is realizing that Wolverine and Psylocke's conversation is actually taking place AFTER the fight with her and Spiral. Wolverine is taking his time to basically call Psylocke a failure and that her team needs to disband and return to the school. The only redeeming factor is the fact that she has captured Spiral (which...well read the book). I really enjoyed seeing Psylocke stand her ground and push away Wolverine. I think this book needs to run a bit without him in it and with minimal contact with the Jean Grey School.
As for Cluster, she did not ask permission very well of her old friend but ultimately is going to receive the help she needs. Next issue we are promised some Fantomex action who, I hope, will ultimately become a member of this team.
With a little bit of a rocky start, Humphries has finally caught my attention. He has huge shoes to fill following Remender's run on this title but there is potential. I intend to stick around a lot longer to see if he can accomplish it.
