It seems that "United We Stand" is finally coming to a close and somehow Miles Morales is coming out of this disaster a hero. Who would have thought that the new Spider-Man would actually be able to do something during a giant war? Especially something like saving the President of the United States from being taken out! Pretty cool stuff.
A large portion of this issue is Miles just trying to find his way home while having to fight off Giant Woman. He is quite impressive during this fight and is able to find his way home with a little help from Jessica Drew who seems to finally be warming up to him.
This is another one of those comics that surprised me. I came into Miles Morales as Spider-Man with incredibly skepticism but have been pleasantly surprised with what Bendis is doing with this title. If he is able to keep this up then I will be a long time reader of Miles and his adventures. Oh...and did I mention that there is promise of Venom being in the next few issues? Color me excited!
