"Big Top Hell"

Yay more Frankenstein's monster back story! Well, that was sort of feigned excitement but it was a little necessary for the story telling of the book. We learn the importance of the witch and why she is doing what she is doing and why there are zombie clowns...which is just not cool.

When we last left off our young team, they were about to get their faces pounded in by the teachers of the Jean Grey school and we pick up a little after the beatings have begun. The kids are not faring too well but are still okay (a few of them are actually doing a good job) while the teachers are trying to shake the control that is over them.

While this fight is going on, Idie is helping Maximilian von Katzenelbogen of the Hellfire club escape his attacker, the monster. There is a ton of chaos in this issue but does lead to the X-Men regaining their sanity and Idie being held against her will while Max is the only one who can save her. I really enjoyed the chaos here and there is a good moment with Wolverine and cream pies and I am excited to get the next issue which I think will conclude this arc. We shall see. All I can say at this point is I am really loving my X-books and am glad I haven't dropped them yet.
