This team up book is so much fun to read. I like that it doesn't really connect to anything else too frequently and I can read it for fun. This month's issue was full of amazingly beautiful art put together by Gabriele Dell'otto, so applause there. If you follow me on twitter I took a picture of a great spread of Spidey fighting raptors...yup, the dinosaurs.
This issue is the first part of Spidey in the Savage Land. He is teaming up with Devil Dinosaur and Moon-Boy to help them protect their land that is being taken over by genetically enhanced dinosaurs. Obviously someone who is up to no good is doing this and they have to figure out together how to stop him. OR they can just charge in and beat whoever it is up. It seems the latter will happen but we wont get to see the results until the next issue.
If you enjoy fun little side stories, this is definitely the title for you. I have read all 14 issues and am rarely disappointed. There was a brief moment in there (two issues in a row) that weren't super great but over all two out of 14 comics is not too shabby. Enjoy watching Spidey kick in some Dino-face!
