"More Pencils, More Books, More Teachers' Dirty Looks"
There is a lot going on at the Jean Grey School for Higher Learning these days. They need a new professor, they are getting A LOT more students and they are trying to save the life of one of their recently shot in the head students. I truly feel bad for Kitty Pride who, with all of her energy, is trying to keep the school functioning for her kids.
Many jokes are dispersed in this issue of who could be the new possible professor at the school. The cameos are out of the world! You have Blade, Hellstrom, Sasquatch and Puck, Longshot, Dr. Nemesis, Gorilla-Man, Ghost Rider, Deadpool, Firestar, Deadpool, Spider-Man and more. Don't get too excited though, none of those guys got the job. Someone not super surprising did but you'll have to read to see that.
On the serious end it seems a dark circus is on their way into town and of course it will be up to the members of the X-Men to take care of them. Not only that, but the Hellfire Club is up to some dark stuff. They sent Wolverine on a wild goose chase only to find something truly disturbing.
I have said this before, but if you are wanting to read an X-book, this one seems to be the current winner. There is a lot of good going on in it and even if you aren't a huge Wolverine fan, you will be surprised on how much the other characters get focused on instead of him. Marvel NOW! is still up in the air for me but this is definitely a title that has a long standing place on my pull list.
