This is one of those AvX issues that takes place quite a while ago in the chronological order but for once it makes sense for it to just come out now. Professor X is just starting to make himself known in this series during the main story and there have been a lot of questions about where he has been, this is one of the issues that answers those questions.
This issue fits with Wolverine and the X-Men #12 and AvX Round 8 where Wolverine is meeting with Rachael Summers to talk to her while Rachael is trying to get Hope back. This comic finally answers the question of why Rachael didn't bring Hope back when she was in contact with her and how everyone was knocked down with no real damage to either side. I really don't want to put any spoilers in...but if you haven't been reading the tie-ins for AvX, this one is worth the price.
I give Avengers #29 a 9/10...good stuff...
