Finally, the conclusion to the battle with Mister Sinister is here! It was nice to read an issue that wasn't totally focused on the Phoenix five (they are all still powered up at this point in the chronology). We get to see Magneto, Danger, Psylocke and Storm infiltrate Sinister London to try to help the captured Phoenix Five and stop Mr. Sinister from taking the Phoenix power and destroying the world.
All in all there were some really decent moments in here of solid fights and the X-Men showing their strengths. It is also nice to see some strategy instead of the raw power of the Five. The one thing that really bothered me for some reason during this issue is that Psylocke kept stating that she was a ninja. "I'm a bloody ninja, Erik." I am not sure why this bothered me so much, maybe it is because she said it more than once. Has this become her tagline over the years and I somehow missed it?
Regardless, this fairly pointless side-arc in AvX finally comes to a close at the end with one final confrontation with Sinister. I wont say what exactly happens, but there is a lot of fire. Uncanny X-Men has not been quite as good as of late so I am happy that this arc is over. Hopefully the last couple issues before the comic is discontinued (for Marvel Now!) will be much better.
I have to give this issue a 7/10 though, it was entertaining and it ended the arc with Sinister.
