I wasn't sure how to feel about this comic. It is an added Avenging Spider-Man for the month and was teased to have Aunt May as Spider-Man's partner. After reading the issue I have to say that it was nice. It wasn't about the action, it wasn't about anything too major, it was about Uncle Ben.

It was the time of year again for Peter and Aunt May to meet at Ben's tombstone and think about him. Every time this happens Peter claims it is his fault that Ben is dead but Aunt May will never listen to why he feels that way. She asks him to move on and to just be the good guy that Ben would have wanted him to be.

The comic gives little flashbacks to the years past of Peter being Spider-Man and the things that had happened. The death of Ben, the death of Norman Osborn, him stopping the Punisher from killing and other moments. It just shows how great of a guy Peter is, even while in his costume. It also shows how much Aunt May loves Peter and how much of a mother figure she really is.

As I said, the comic was nice. I enjoyed reading it and seeing how Aunt May really feels about the situation and how she feels about her new marriage when it comes to Ben. There is a lot of good in this comic for those of us that have been fans of Spidey for years. It isn't written gold...but I'd give it a silver (7/10)... Give it a read you web-heads.
