No Turning Back Part 4: Human Error
Finally, the finale to "No Turning Back". It is going to be nice to see Spidey get away from the movie hype again and see where the story is going and how it is going to lead us to the mysterious Alpha character that Marvel has been hinting at for the past couple months.
The issue itself wasn't too shabby. We get closure on the actually Lizard battle as well as what happened to the scientists at Horizon. Also, we learn if Curt Connors is still around or if Lizard is the only mind in the body within the final pages. The actual fight with Lizard was actually pretty well done. The new and improved version could almost keep up with Spidey and may have even been able to win if it weren't for the remaining cure. I still am finding Madame Web to be annoying...I hate her obscure references to the future and her lack of complete clarity.
Regardless, I think the teaser of Kingpin and Hobgoblin as well as Devil-Spider (you'll know who that is if you read the comic...) is going to prove to be very important in the near future in the Spider-Man world.
The conclusion of "No Turning Back" wasn't terrible and is showing promise for the future...it gets a 7/10.
