As noted in earlier posts, Marvel is focusing on Spidey a lot this month due to his anniversary. It is obvious from the cover of this issue that Spider-Man is taking the reigns and doing something here...and something is exactly what he does.
I want to say that this was the best Avengers vs X-Men book yet. I hope that it isn't just because I am a Spider-Man fanboy but because it truly is a great book. I love Kubert's art, the story is really picking up pace and Spider-Man...wow...he is really making himself an Avenger as of this issue. He offers to hold off Magik AND Colossus by himself... poor guy just doesn't care about his own well-being.
After a pretty wicked beating and a lot of great word play the comic comes to an end setting up the inevitable reconnection of Cyclops and Hope. I am beyond excited for the comic that is coming in two weeks. It is becoming obvious that Marvel wasn't kidding that there are going to be major repercussions after the war that is going on.
As I said...hand down my favorite AvX book yet...easy 10/10 for me.
Completely agree... Easy the best Avengers vs X-Men book yet. Greetings from Chile!
