I am sad to see this comic go. The fights in here have been great. I have laughed, clung to pages and probably read this series more times than anything else during the AvX event. This issue was no different for me. The first fight between Hope and Scarlet Witch takes place during the early pages of Avengers vs X-Men round #12 while they are settling their differences. Hope's ability to mock everyone's powers as well as her recent kung-fu training definitely showed during this battle. My favorite moment (other than the cheap shot finish) was when Hope headbutted Wanda proclaiming "No more nose!"
The rest of the issue was sort of cool as well. It wasn't the normal format of two large fights but rather page spreads that represented random fights that had no real attachment to AvX other than the cast members. Each one was pretty silly and meant to just make the reader smile. I personally liked the Iron Fist vs Iceman two page spread as well as the comedic last page of Squirrel Girl vs Pixie. It seems they were playing with The Puppet Master's mind-control clay with shapes of Avengers and X-Men....oye.
No matter how ridiculous this issue was I have been left smiling. There was a lot of gold in Avengers vs X-Men and I really hope that readers out there can see the silver lining and back off of the somewhat predictable ending....
