This is the aftermath issue, the final issue, the farewell issue...however you want to look at it this is the closing of Uncanny X-Men. It makes sense considering the leader of this team is now in prison. The sad thing is, there are a few new things added that are going to have to be taken care of in other X-Men comics in the near future that are brought up in this issue.
Thing #1, Sinister is still alive. He shows how he survived the attack on Sinister London from the Phoenix Five in this issue. It is interesting and sick, as Sinister tends to be. He also loves showing off in front of Scott Summers....
Thing #2, Danger is completely free to do what she wants. The question is, what is she going to do now that she has freed all of the prisoners from Utopia and is off on her own?
Thing #3, Magik and Colossus are no longer buddy buddy. There is a major rift between the two of them and what Magik does to her brother in this comic (I will not say what, you'll have to read for that) only makes him more angry at her.
The comic closes with Scott saying "This isn't over." I readily agree with him. I know there are no plans for a new Uncanny X-Men comic yet but there is still Wolverine and the X-Men and the new X-Men Legacy to pick up the pieces. I am interested to see what happens to our X-titles here on out.
