UGH! Dragging our feet much Marvel? This comic is a conversation between Logan and Scott. That's it in a nutshell. Logan wants to kill Scott, Scott wants Logan to kill him so Logan doesn't kill him? Ugh...
Obviously Logan isn't thrilled with Scott's choices and to be fair, Scott isn't completely happy with his actions. Regardless of this, he thinks that the ends qualified the means. The fact that there are new mutants makes everything okay and in all reality that he was right from the moment he knew that the Phoenix was coming for Hope. He thought that it was coming for a rebirth and technically it did.
Other than the conversation which wasn't terrible but also wasn't riveting or surprising; there is an interaction between a now mutant inmate and Scott discussing how and when he got his powers. It may be foreshadowing him building a small mutant resistance in jail even though he doesn't really want to resist. The comic ends with a rather large man and some other thugs approaching the new mutant and Scott with knives. Scott claims to be a martyr and stands waiting. I will not be shocked if at the beginning of #3 the new mutant just wipes the floor with the other guys in one panel.
As I said last week, this comic is not screaming "read me" but it is closing up the rather large event of AvX. If you are already invested in the series, give it a read. If not...save your cash.
Yeah this book didn't bring anything new to the table.. it also doesn't help that the location of scotts prison differs from book to book...
