"The Passion of Scott Summers"

This comic is simply an aftermath book. We get to see the final fight with the Avengers through the perspective of Scott Summers. His whole life flickers before his eyes. He sees and remembers that everything that happened was for Hope...not just the girl but hope for the mutant race.

There is a quick interaction between Beast and Cyclops discussing what happened. Cyclops accepts that fact that he was the one that killed Professor Xavier and he gets confirmed that there are now new mutants in the world. I loved the final page with Scott standing outside of the tent with his arms crossed into an X before the sun. To him, the mutants won.

I, no matter how I feel about Cyclops, really enjoyed this issue. We get to see the finale of crazy that is his brain and we get and idea of what is going to happen to his post AvX...I am going to miss Uncanny X-Men and am interested to see what the final issue holds.
