"To Hold Back a Black Hole"

The Abyss has taken full hold and this is the Secret Avengers last chance to stop it! Seriously, this is some dark stuff going down and it is cool to see that the darkest Avenger, Venom, is around to do some damage. He is truly earning his Avengers card in this mission and he is finally proving himself to Clint Barton. The crazy thing is that he teams with Ant-Man and that together they are pretty unstoppable.
In all reality this issue is chock full of a lot of fighting, dark images and interactions between the Secret Avengers that are gold. I personally love the fight on the plane between Hawkeye and Black Widow as well as the mid-air battle between Valkyrie and Venom. Hero against hero in this type of setting is fun to read.

After an exhausting battle Captain Britain informs the rest of the team that there is something big going on in that arctic, Black Widow states that she does not trust Ant-Man (for good reason) but Hawkeye decides to ignore it and take a break for the evening. I hope that isn't the worst mistake he has made as a leader....

Remender has my attention in this book just as he did in Venom...I hope he keeps it up.
